Farshid Ighani, MD
With a strong emphasis on education from his parents, Dr. Ighani grew up with a passion for medicine. In 2000, he attended medical school at Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock, and completed his residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. During his time as a resident, Dr. Ighani received additional training in ocular oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center and expert LASIK refractive surgery training under NASA’s consultant ophthalmologist for the Houston space program. In his final year of training, he had the privilege of being Chief Resident of Ophthalmology. Prior to joining Nethery Eye Associates, Dr. Ighani practiced at Fort Worth Eye Associates and Kleiman Evangelista Eye Center, where he performed laser-assisted cataract surgery.
Dr. Ighani is a resident of Fort Worth with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, Dr. Ighani enjoys basketball, football and community projects. His primary emphasis is on cataract and refractive surgery.
